Dancing Dolls

Everybody needs to see this video on youtube of these dolls that dance it is so cute. The dolls are like the kind of puppet dolls that hang from strings, but theres a man making them move and dance. The way they dance makes you think what in the world how does he make them move like that, but at the same time, it`s very entertaining to watch. When going to youtube you can just type in dancing dolls and it shoud pop up you will see two dolls a boy and a girl. It is very funny the girl doll pops and "twerks" while the boy doll grinds and shows out.

What lipgloss is made of

Today, a lot of girls use lipgloss simply to get a sexy lip look, maybe because there lips are dry, or because they just love lipgloss. I myself am a lipgloss lover, I use it everyday, and I cant go without it. But, one day I was just sitting around and I thought about how I wanted to know what lipgloss was made of. After doing research it knid of made me sick to my stomach to actuall know what I was putting on my lips, but obviously the thought didnt last long because I still use lipgloss till this day. Lipgloss used to be made from "spermaceti," which is a fat you'll find in the head of a sperm whale. There's no sperm in spermaceti. Now they use Jojoba oil, which is a very good replacement for spermaceti. Yes, they do use jojoba oil in most lip-glosses, but some lipgloss still does contain spermacetil.

Fine China

When I first heard the song Fine China by Chris Brown, I did not like it at all because I thought he was talking about chinese girls forreal because of the video. LOL, Don`t judge me. But, recently I found out he was not talking about chinese girls and the song grew on me because I figured out what he meant. He was talking about things thats like collectable plates etc. that are made in China, but people dont really use it its just for show because the material is so good. So, now I want everyone else to actually look at the lyrics because reading between the lines helps you understand the song.

Rihanna Baby?

Recently I have heard rumors that Rihanna may be pregnant with Chris Browns baby. So, I did a little research for myself and I found out that Rihanna Is Not Pregnant With Chris Brown’s Child People!!!!!! Yes, she was sick and cancelled four shows from her concert but I mean really dang can`t the girl just be sick. People these days just take information and run with it. SMH I guess it`s just the effects of the media today everybody believes what they want to believe. So, now that we have cleared that information up, I just want to leave you people with a little message. STOP BELIEVING THE HYPE AND WHAT EVERBODY SAYS!!!!! Wait awhile and do some research yourselves cause you never know you could be spreading a lie.

Almost there

Finally the seniors or Dudley high school have made it. After 4 long years we are finally about to graduate on next week on June 9 and graduation rehearsal is next week on June. I have already told all of my friends that im going to be so messed up that whole weekend I just might walk across the stage with a hangover but still happy. I cant wait to get that feeling of woww this is real I did it. On graduation day I ask that you guys dont judge me because I AM going to cry. Now, I might not cry for everybody because I dont even like everybody. I`m crying for myself, and a few of my friends.

Today everbody has a way of betraying  you, even your own family. So, I have two cousins that has drama awaiting them and they dont even know it.Long story short, yesterday I found out that one of my cousins boyfriend gave my other cousin money for a hotel room. Then when she got the room she was suppose to call him to come to the room with her. PAUSE. First off this situation started off wrong anyways because why are they calling eachother and setting up (S)ugar (H)oney (I)ce (T)ea anyways. Second off, if you cant even give your own girlfriend money for a room, then wth in your right mind made you give her cousin money. Then last, how long has these little secret meetings been going on anyways. PLAY. So, as I have been told she called him that night but he didnt never answer the phone because this dumb bastard done got locked up. But, thats not the point, what makes me sick to my stomach is so you really was gonna sleep with him again if you had the chance. EWWW. Now, my cousin knows about the situation cause she is the one that told me about the two. She is just waiting to see my other cousin to approach her about the situation, which in my opinion is not gonna be good but very interesting. A fight may even break out who knows. All I may scream is JERRY JERRY JERRY LOL. No but really that whole situation is messed up and at the end of the day she needs to break up with him and leave him alone for good. As far as family goes, even though my other cousin was wrong they can fight it out but at the end of the day everybody is family, and needs to keep things cool. Even if they dont mess with eachother anymore afterwards the situations still needs to die down eventually. They can hate eachother forever for all I care, as long as we`re keeping the peace.

Touchdown

Well, my brother has been in jail for 3 years and its about that time to "touchdown", as an inmate would say. He literally has a couple of weeks left and im am too ready for him to come back. Some days I really think about like omg I cant believe it, it seems a little unreal, but on other days I just feel like happy and overwhelmed because I have missed him so much. My brother and I have always been close and shared a bond that neither me or my other brothers and sisters have. When he first comes home he doesnt really want to be bothered with anyone, but after at least two weeks to himself its going to be time to turnup and I cant wait.

Some Mothers Day!!!

On Sunday, which was mothers day, turned out to be a good day gone crazy for me. The day started out good i was spending time with my mom, we went to eat and laughed and talked the whole day. After spending time with my mom I went back home to my dads house because thats who I live with, but when I got there no one was home just my step brothers and sisters. Later my dad and step mom came home just tripping on everybody for no reason at all. So, to make the long story short, let me just tell you how it was literally some Mothers Day for me. My dad choked my sister, then he went to jail on mothers day, My step mama and me were about to fight, my mom came and made the situation even more crazy, my step mother and her kids were arguing and fighting, then next thing i know the neighbors got in it some how but I dont even know how. The story could go on for days, but like i said before, it was just some mothers day for me, too crazy for my to deal with.

Mothers Day Shooting

Recently i read an article on the internet that talked about a mothers day shooting. The shooting occured in New Orleans at a parade. New Orleans police are offering a 10,000 dollar reward for any leads on the suspects. Supposedly, it may be more than one suspect roaming around. During an interview with one of the blocks witnesses, a witness stated, "The old people are scared to walk the streets. The children can't even play outside." In my opinion, i think people are real dumb theses days. Who in their right mind would go and shoot up a parade for no reason, that`s suppose to be a special day. I really think that it had to be a crazy person with no life, or if you want to dig deepee maybe that person just doesnt appreciate mothers day because maybe they don`t have a mom. I dont know, but I just feel like whatever the reason is it still gave them no right. Overall, the world is getting crazy if people can go and shoot up a parade thats suppose to be on an honoring day, who knows whats next.

Recipe

Yesterday i was reading a magazine, and Jennifer Hudson was giving foods that she like. So, I went and found a recipe on one of the foods that i want to try because it looks so good.

Recipe 1:

Stir Fry and Cashews:

2-3 chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces or strips

1 small cooking onion, diced

3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1-2 red chilies, sliced, OR 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. dried chili flakes

1  lemongrass stalk, pale section sliced and minced, OR 2 Tbsp. prepared lemongrass

4 green onions, cut into thirds

5-8 large leaves suey choy or other chinese cabbage, such as bok choy, chopped into square bite-size pieces

1/2 cup cashews, dry roasted, unsalted

1-2 cups shiitake mushrooms, sliced

marinade: 2 tsp. cornstarch dissolved in 2 Tbsp. soy sauce + 1 Tbsp. water

1/4 cup chicken broth or white wine (or white cooking wine or sherry)

SAUCE:

3 Tbsp. white cooking wine

1 cup chicken broth

2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 Tbsp. rice vinegar

1/2 tsp. dark soy sauce

2 Tbsp. fish sauce (available in tall bottles at Asian/Chinese food stores)

2 heaping Tbsp. brown sugar

OTHER:

1 Tbsp. cornstarch powder, dissolved in 3 Tbsp. water

1-2 Tbsp. oil for stir-frying

1. Stir together marinade and place in a medium-size bowl. Add chicken pieces and stir well to combine. Set aside to marinate.
2. Combine all stir-fry sauce ingredients in a bowl or large cup, stirring well. Set aside.
3. In a large wok or frying pan, fry the onion, garlic, chili, minced lemongrass and green onion in oil over medium-high heat (1-2 minutes).
4. Add the marinated chicken plus mushrooms. Continue stir frying until chicken is cooked (2-5 minutes). When the wok or frying pan becomes dry, add a little of the broth or cooking wine, 1 Tbsp. at a time.
5. Add the Chinese cabbage and continue stir frying until it softens and turn bright green (about 1 minute).
6. Finally, add the sauce you made earlier, plus the cashews. Then add the cornstarch powder dissolved in water. Continuing stirring until everything is well combined and the sauce thickens (1-2 more minutes).
7. Do a taste test for salt and sweetness, adding more sugar if too sour for your taste, or more fish sauce if not salty enough (the sauce should taste tangy and a little sweet). If you prefer a darker, richer sauce, add 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. more dark soy sauce.
8. Serve with Thai jasmine-scented rice or .

Old days

Sometimes i miss being a kid again. Its like the older you get the more you have to worry about. I miss the good days when you could run around and play outside with no worries. I miss all the games like double dutch, hopscotch, hide and seek, tag, freeze tag etc.Even the most goofiest games that you can just make up off the top of your head like Girl. Nobody can ever tell me that they never played that game, remember when you use to act like you were going to the club or work or where ever and you called your friend all the time and the first thing you would say was "Girl". Lol. It was always the game you would play with your cousins or friends. Overall, I just miss being a kid again, if i could go back for a day or two I probably would and live like theres no tomarrow.

Generation issues

Todays generation has a lot going on and society is not the same anymore. This topic is a topic that I am very familar with and can share a lot of information on because I am currently working on my senior project and my topic is Generational development. The main issues that this generation now has a problem with are things such as: social media, drugs, and the economy. Many people dont realize that these are the main three things that have taken over the younger generation, and with future generations to come its only going to get worse.

Social media is really the number one thing that has taken over young peoples mind. It has become a distraction and the more people are coming in contact with social media the more they are losing focus on things that really matter. Social media has caused a lot of young people in todays generation to kill themselves or get bullied over. People are also getting embarrassed by using social media because we have young females using social media and some of the things that they put on their twitter, or facebook, or instagram etc. are causing them to be called all kind of names, and giving them bad looks. Maybe some people think that its their fault but i would like to think otherwise. I believe that its societys fault because people follow trends, and celebrities, and watching television it`s all making people think its cool to do something so its mind controlling, even though people do have minds of their own, they still want to feel like they belong so they do things to make them fit in.

Drugs and the economy is another thing that young people are having problems with today as well. More than 22 million Americans age 12 and older nearly 9% of the U.S. population use illegal drugs, according to the government’s national survey on drug use and health. So, if its this many people using drugs now, imagine in the future how many more people are going to be involved with drug activities. In my opinion, some people only go by the things that they see, if one person is using drugs and the next person isnt then that person starts using drugs because everyone else around them is doing it. Todays economy is messed up because people seem to not have a mind of their own anymore. Its like the world is basically based off of going by what they see and hear rather than what people know.

Today i chose this quote because I believe if everyone could go by this quote then the world would be so much better. This is a qoute inspired by Drake that I love so much because if you really understand the true meaning of it then you start to notice a lot. Overall this quote is saying that in life you dont always have to be the person in charge or the person that wants to be ahead in everything. If you just live you life and let things flow then you get noticed more without even doing anything. Many people dont know that someone is watching them even when they think no one is, so stop begging for attention to be noticed because you dont have to. This reminds me of another quote that drake also stated:

Getting Ready for Prom!!!

Prom is approaching Saturday May 4 and I must say im not as excited as I should be. Today is only Monday so maybe as time goes by my excitement will kick in. For prom ill be wearing a pink high low dress with sequins on the left side of the dress which includes purple sequins and other colors as well. My shoes, well I havent got them yet, but this week ill be getting them and really i dont know if i want opened or closed toe heels, so ill need help with that decision. For my hair style, I will be getting long hair down my back which will be a sow in and im thinking i want to throw some Kim K curls up in my hair to so ill make that decision when im getting my hair done. Last but not least my make up will be on point and im making sure of that. Im going for a smokey eye look but i want colors as well. The theme for prom this year is Kandy Coated Nights, and im pretty sure everybody is going to be in there looking just like candy to. In my opinion i dont think that its the actual prom part that people actually look forward to, I think its just the whole dressing up process, looking good, and after prom part. I may not be as excited for prom but im definitely looking forward to after prom, everybody is.

Metaphorically Me

For my senior project this year i did a metaphorically me poem and a metaphorically me poem basically describes something that symbolizes you, and I chose music because i love music and music is what inspires me half of the time, so I wanted to share that poem with eveyone on blogger as well, because i feel like i did a great job on it.

Ready to Graduate

This year i am graduating with the class of 2013 at Dudley high School. Honey I cant wait to graduate. I dont know what I would do if I had to sit in Dudley for another whole year I probably would die and go crazy. This school is getting on my nerves so bad and im just ready to leave. The people here are ignorant and worsm and it nothing but fake girls and boys that arent going nowhere with their life. In the hallway one day I saw the most ignorant thing happen and I think that was the last straw for me im completely done with this place. When is there not something ignorant going on in the halls at Dudley? Somebody answer that for me please. I use to take pride in this school and have good hope for this school but now im really like this is the prime example of ignorant BLACK PEOPLE!!!!

Changes

Recently life has been goin in all kinds of directions for me. Some days are good and some are bad, but really I discovered that I have changed quite a bit. Now that i have moved out of mothers house with my father things have been a little out of control with me and I dont know if its just life or if its just the fact that im in a whole different environment. My mother and I fell out in a way even though we still talk she thinks that I need a break so sending me away would make things better but really they just got worse. Its funny how in places like school nobody really knows what goes on outside of school with me because even though I can be looked at as maybe im such a good girl and life is good, really its the total opposite. Some days I think that maybe im not really ready for the real world but I only think that because im 18 and I THINK that im grown when really i still have a childs mind. Its good to know that I have great friends to talk to about my problems though.

What Doesnt kill you.......Makes you stronger

Experience has taught me that I am a unique, loving, and very level headed type of person. I strive to be the best at everything I do, and my confidence is what I believe will get me very far in life. Throughout time I have had a lot of obstacles come across my life. One major thing that has happened to me in my life was when my mother lost her job and got behind in rent. We had to move out our home and separate from each other for a while until things got better and we could live together once again. When that happened, I told myself to stay strong, and never let the bad things in life outweigh all the good. I also realized that I was mentally and emotionally stronger than I thought, and it also taught me to be grateful for everything that I have and to not want for much of the things that I don’t have. Certain situations make a person smarter and stronger, which is why I continue to further my education so that I can provide a better life for my family and I. Also, when I have kids of my own, they will have a better life as well. My life has not been worst but it certainly has not been the best compared to others. My mother has always been the key provider in my life, and I thank her for that because when no one else is there she always manages to pull through no matter the circumstances. My mother has taught me that life is tough at times, but even when it gets tough never be that person to fall flat, that’s why I will succeed in any way possible.

 

Boston Marathon Tragedy

Yesterday on April 15, 2013 there was a bombing near the Boston marathon in two separate buildings. As I have heard, the bombing killed three people and injured more than 150 people. On 102 jams this morning they were talking about the man who witnessed the bombing named Dan Rebella while looking out the window in a very close building inbetween the two explosions waiting for a friend to finish the race. In my opinion, the bomb threats are getting very out of control, and the world is becoming a more unsafe place for people. Even though nobody no one really knows who placeed the bombs or why i think that it most likely could be another terrorist attack and should be taken care of immediately. Who knows whats going to happen next?!?

This qoute caught my eye because I took it as you can only be defeated if you let others run over you, be the bigger person and walk with your head held high because when doing that you can defeat others through intimidation when you make them realize that nothing they do or say can bring you down.

When reality hits.

Yesterday I actually didnt realize how special someone was to me until he found someone else. Although we are still friends or whatever and still have love for eachother I kind of developed a jealous streak. I dont like the fact that he found somebody else who probably isnt as great as me anyways, but the fact of the matter is I have to win him back. Until yesterday before reality hit me that I probably wont find anyone as good as him I played a lot of games that I can honestly say I regret. I fooled around and lied a couple of times and even though we were completely honest all the time I should have sensed that one day this would happen, but I was blind, and now im kind of hurt. Now, all im listening to is the song "Unfaithful" by Rihanna because it reminds me of how I messed up when I shouldnt have. How can a situation start off so good then fall apart so fast? Did I get bored? Or did I see something that distracted me and maybe I thought it would have been better for me but wasnt? Well, you know what they say, "Everything that glitters aint gold", and obviously I thought it would be but it wasnt so now im sitting here lonely and wanting the piece of gold that I had before back, the person I have now cant even compare.

When dealing with fashion there are many things that relate to the topic. Body art, piercings, makeup, hairstyles, clothes, and jewelry, etc. all deal with fashion. Four major fashion capitals in the world are established in NewYork, Milan, Paris, and London. Fashion journalism plays the most important role when it comes to fashion and it also plays a role in media. Media is used to promote fashion in many different ways. Throughout the early 20th century, practically all high fashion originated in Paris and London. Around the start of the 20th century fashion style magazines began to include photographs and become even more influential. In the fashion industry there are three main types of fashion, the different types include: Haute Couture, Mass Market, and Ready to wear. Haute Couture deals more with high-quality, expensive fabric. Haute Couture usually is not worn a lot and makes little direct profit for the fashion houses, but is important for prestige and publicity. Mass Market fashion is what most fashion industries mostly rely on. The mass market caters for a wide range of customers, producing ready-to-wear garments using trends set by the famous names in fashion. Last but not least there is Ready to Wear fashion. Ready to wear clothes are a cross between haute couture and mass market. Ready to wear collections are usually presented by fashion houses each season during fashion week. People dont make ready to wear fashion for individuals it normally is just for show and a specific person. So, I guess you can say majority of people today are sporting Mass Market fashion but its nothing wrong with it if you know how to own what you wear and know what fits you!

I Hit It First!!!

Has anyone heard the new song by Ray J called "I hit it First"? If not people should definitely go listen to it. Even though Ray J claims the song isnt about Kim Kardshian his ex girlfriend who is now the girlfriend of Kanye West i think it most definitely is. I really dont know what Kim K thinks about the song idk she probably cried like always lol, but I know for sure Kanye West is definitely on it. Will he make a comeback? Who knows? Personally, I hope he does. But, at the same time, that will be a awkward battle. An R&B singer vs a Rapper? It would be very interesting to hear what Kanye has to say in a song. In "I hit it First", what made me really know that Ray J was talking about Kim was when he stated, "She might move on to rappers and ballplayers But we all know I hit it first ... I had her head going North and her a** going South But now baby chose to go West." In the chorus of the song, Ray J boasts "I hit it, I hit it, I hit it." LMAO!!!! I`ve actually grown to like this song. Thumbs up for Ray J, but I cant wait to see what Kanye has in store. But, i must say i`ve never really been a fan of Kanye or Kim at all anyways so either way it goes im still rocking with Ray J :).

What happens when you dont listen???

Spring break was truly great for me, but theres one night that i will never forget. Some things that happen when you dont listen to your parents can leave you in sitting in hell and hot water forreal, and i would have never believed it until that one night. Over spring break I was chilling with my friends everyday we just went hard  for no reason all spring break. One night my step sister and I decided to take a ride with my friend Torch on the southside. Even after my dad clearly told us not to go with him because he didnt like the way Torch drove. Of course in my head im thinkin whatever im grown i do what i want he just dont want us to go, So we left anyways. Bad Idea. I should have listened!!! At first everything was all fine and dandy we riding having a good ole time swerving and zooming up and down the streets, and even through parking lots and apartment complexes. After all the fun was over we got bored and started on the way home. It was about 1 o`clock in the morning and nobody was out on the street where we were. No it wasnt a wreck, No we didnt get stopped by the police (even though we should have multiple times), and No we didnt hit anyone or anything. Right when we were halfway around the block from our neighborhood we popped the tires on the truck. When i say the tires were done they were done BUSTED!!! Nobody had a license and to make matters worse nobody was around which left me with no choice but to call my dad. I have never seen someone so heated. And, to make things even worse we all have to pay for the car. I DONT HAVE ANY MONEY, But i cant even be mad cause heyy I should have listened. As much as I can sit here and write about that night, its just simply too much to explain. I left a couple details out which includes a lot more drama but I just felt like I should share my experience of why you should listen to your parents when they tell you one thing cause if you dont then it all goes bad, Especially when you go behind their backs and do something anyways.

What the Plan??

Many people dont have a clue what their plan to do with their lives, or where they`re going. In my case, im not that person. Over the next couple of years I want to attend school at Johnson and Wales University to study fashion and merchandising so that i can go to New York and achieve my dream of becoming a big time fashion designer. In my spare time I want to use that to attend the Aveda Institute which is a hair school in Charlotte and is also located in other plasces as well, just so i can have a liscense to do hair for a back up plan, that way if Johnson and Wales dont work out I can do hair, and go to school fpr business and entreprenuership so I can own my own business such as a salon or whatever else I want to own. This is the plan I want to happen in my life because of the simple fact I want to break the chain in my family of not being able to call something your own, or in other peoples case not even being able to do anything at all.

Known and famous for being an American actress, model, and singer Marilyn Monroe had it all. Being tossed from foster home to foster home, never knowing your dad, your mom in the psyciatric home, and having a step sister that you see only from time to time, life was not that great for Marilyn Monroe until she became famous. The only family she ever really had was her husband Jimmy Daughtry who she married at age 16 after dropping out of high school at age 15. In my opinion Marilyn Monroe had a great career, but underneath all the smiling faces there was a lot of pain and hurt within her. Having to go through all the things she went through before all the lights camera and action, nobody will know the real her. Rape, no parents, being in foster homes, and not really having anyone but strangers all in your face everyday, it had to be tough.

The Last Project that Marilyn Monroe worked on was a movie "Somethings gotta Give" which she was filming with fox films but shortly after she was fired from fox for her attitude and behavior and being difficult to work with.
