Metaphorically Me

For my senior project this year i did a metaphorically me poem and a metaphorically me poem basically describes something that symbolizes you, and I chose music because i love music and music is what inspires me half of the time, so I wanted to share that poem with eveyone on blogger as well, because i feel like i did a great job on it.

From the rhythm to the beat

To the words that are being spoken

Music lies within me

When I listen I’m inspired

When I DANCE I feel free

And though my vocals aren’t as great as Whitney

Music lies within me

Old school new school

Pop, hip hop and r&b

Anything you name

It lies within me

Everyday I wake up

Every time I go to sleep

I put my headphones on blast

Just to feel that rhythm and that beat

Why…

Because I got the music in me.
